something about girls

I got to know one girl and became friends with her and we hang out almost everyday (me ,her,her sister and my friend) and I think I have started to like her but one day out of nowhere she tells me that she had a bad relationship with a guy he apparently 'lied' to her (i dont know what she means by that) and that she is afraid to trust anyone anymore...

but the thing is that I don understand why she told me that? she didnt tell my friend that only me ...now im confused i want to tell her i like her but im afraid she is going to say that she doesnt want to go out with me because of history with guys...
extra info...i do think she likes me but im not 100% sure , I also think my friends is jealous of me because he is always like ''ah you were talking to her again...'' . Im 15 she is 14.
